NICK FLYGT (b.1980) is a Swedish architect and interior designer based in Stockholm.

He graduated in 2007, having studied architecture at Chalmers University of Technology and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Throughout his career as both an employee and a freelancer, Nick has gained extensive experience working on large-scale commercial projects including hotels, restaurants, bars, showrooms and office spaces.

Nick founded his own studio in 2011, and from 2018 to 2024, he co-ran Atelier Alba with Sofia and Pelle Bross.

As a conceptually driven architect, Nick has a strong interest in craftsmanship and the significance of detail. His approach blends a light-handed design with a depth in materiality. He works closely with artisans in his projects, particularly focusing on carpentry and stone. Nick’s expertise in understanding the properties and dimensions of materials is particularly valuable.

In his architectural practice, Nick primarily focuses on private residential projects including houses, apartments and summer homes.
